Yamaha vs. Denon?

Hey Guys and Gals:

My first post. I am setting up a secondary system for my office. I have a set of the mirage nanostats 5.0 and a polk 300w sub. Which receiver would be best of the two (I'm trying to keep pricing down - as I've dumped enough into my primary system):

Denon AVR-1508

Yamaha RXV363

Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

What are your sources? What are your possible future sources?

Pick which one has the features most useful to you.

These two will likely have similar performance, so if you've got a preference for one over the other or have more familiarity, you may want to choose between them that way.

From my own experience with entry level or close to entry level receivers from Yamaha and Denon, the Denon may likely be slightly better for music, whereas the Yamaha might be slightly better for HT usage, so you're listening preference may make a difference as well... -TD
