I currently have a Denon AVR-2803 and am looking to upgrade my receiver for HDMI video processing. My budget is around $1000. Current speakers: Center JBL Studio S-CenterII, front L/R JBL S38II, Surrounds JBL S36II. I have a paradigm 12 inch powered sub.
Components will be dish network box, playstation3 (used for Blu ray as well), and xbox360. Any thoughts/suggestions?
I saw the Pioneer VSX 1021-K looked like it had some cool features with ipad connectivity. I'm concerned about the sound quality and video processing of the Pioneer. I am also looking at maybe the Denon or Onkyo?
I would like the ability to hook up wirelessly to either my home network or ipad but it is not a must. A wired connection is a no go also- not a must. But a like to have.
