I wouldn't go cheap.................if you're planning on using these for HT as well as music, I'd start at a Denon 2805 & go up from there. It's impossible to recommend any one receiver as there are many good ones to choose from. I have a Yamaha, one friend has a Denon, yet another has a B&K. They're all good. Personally, I'd get a B&K-507 to go with the Mozarts. But you should sample as many as you can & get what YOU like.

Have fun while you look.............

Thanks for your response. I'll be using for HT and listening music. I want to keep the price below $1500 for receiver. Do I need to buy the same make for DVD player?

No...........you don't need to match brand names for all the components.

If you need to stay under $1500 for the receiver that kind of rules out the B&K, but there are plenty of excellent choices in that price range. Others you may wish to check out would be Marantz, Harmon-Kardon & Pioneer. Check out the reviews on this site to get some ideas. You have,IMO,chosen some nice speakers & getting a good receiver to feed them is definitely the next step. But do shop around.........many units in the $800-$1500 range are very comparable & you may be able to save a couple hundred dollars by finding one of these units on sale.

I am combining B&K Components with Vienna Acoustics too. I recently purchased the Reference 50 s2 Pre-Amp with a Reference 125.7 s2. I am combing the B&K stuff with the Vienna Acoustics Schonberg Series:

3 Webern on walls for the L/C/R
2 Borg on walls for the Rear Surrounds
1 Subson for the Subwoofer

Both the B&K and Vienna Acoustics have some serious build quality (really heavy duty, well made, beautiful speakers and components) and my home was already prewired for 7.1 surround with 12g speaker cable so the on wall application was perfect for our home.

It has been driving me crazy though because they have been sitting on the floor of my living room for over a month while I am having a built in media center made and I still haven't hooked them up for a test drive. :(
