I just picked up a set of Orb Audio Mod 2's for the front 3 channels and the Mod 1's for the back. Right now I am running them from a Pioneer VSX-D912K. They sound great to me and this is my first set of high end speakers. I want them to be used to their full potential and I want to know what suggestions you might have for a receiver to power them. Right now I'm leaning towards the Denon 2805. Are there any pitfalls to this receiver? It will be mostly for watching DVD's and then for music cds. The type of music ranges from jazz to rock to hip hop. Oh and I'm still in college so my budget is limited to under $1000. Actually more towards the $500 range. Thanks .
