receiver for new entry level HT setup

I'm in the process of setting up a home theater in my apartment. So far I bought the panasonic TH-42PX60U plasma and for speakers I got the klipsche quintet III and matching sub. I've been reading this forum a bit and people seem to like Denon a lot, but they seem to be a bit out of my price point. I'm looking to spend around $300 so any suggestions would be great.

Most of the manufacturers have models in the $300-ish price range.

I would take a look at the Onkyo TX-SR504.

How about the Onkyo 504? Maybe the Yamaha V659 if you can find it cheap

the Onkyo TX-SR504 looks pretty nice, amazon has it for $247 right now. I also just so the Sony STR-DG800 for $280. It has hdmi pass through which isn't a must have for me, but it would be a nice plus. Any thoughts on that model?

I bought a panasonic XR55 for my parents for 170 shipped.

I decided to go with the panasonic SAXR57K. It was right at my price point with some nice features and the reviews I read were pretty positive.
