receiver display help?

I dont know what i did but when i was moving around my receiver the other day, to a new stand the display on the receiver does not want to come up. Any ides why, and if it's fixable?

A lot of receivers offer multiple display settings. For example on my 3806 in pure direct mode the default setting is with the display disabled. Check your manual on "display settings", there may be some button on the receiver that you inadverently bumped into during the move.

check the dimmer switch!! It would help if you tell the forum what type of receiver it is?
