I bought an Onkyo 503 at best buy, but I noticed circuit city has a yamaha HTR-5840BL for the same price.
The Yamaha is only 6.1 but that is fine. It is 100w/channel. The Onkyo 75w/channel.
A couple of cool things the Yamaha has that I think I might use:
Night Listening Enhancer (for movies)
XM ready
Mainly this is going to be a stereo system by the way, so stereo sound is the most important to me.

Lastly, I thought I would mention this minor gripe I have with my new 6-disk Onkyo changer (DV-CP702)... it is a great changer, only very finicky about disks with scratches. Funny how some players will play just about and damn thing you throw at it ... and others are super finicky. Just thought I would mention this, in case anyone is looking into buying the Onkyo 6-disk changer from best buy.
