Reccomendations on headphones?

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for some good in-ear headphones. Quality and durability is all that really matters to me. I've used Shure E2c headphones in the past, but they hardly last a year before the cable insulation starts to fray make them unusable.

What do you guys suggest?

I had a pair of Etymotic ER-6i for over 2 years before my dog ate them when he was a puppy. One of the best in-ear buds I have ever had and are superb for the gym.

I've been very happy with my V-Moda Bass Freqs for the last 1.5 years or so. They are cheap, so I wouldn't be upset if they broke. But they seem to handle everything I can throw at them. They are very bass heavy, so obviously not reference quality, but they do have a fun sound.

I imagine the higher end Vibes would be built at least to the same quality standards as my cheapos, so those might be worth checking out as well.
