Rebate from Amazon for HD DVD purchase

Just got an e-mail from Amazon offering their condolences on my HD DVD purchase and they are offering me, and other purchasers, $50 in credit toward purchases. Good for units purchased from AMAZON before 2/23/08.

They give until April 9,2009 to use it. They give a promotional code to use it.

I will use it for the new Panny unit when it comes out next month (hopefully).

I got two of them and have already used them. That was a nice deal.

Real nice of them. When/if Blu-ray prices come down I think I'll take advantage of it.
