rear center speaker

I wanted to add the rear center speaker (6.1) my problem is couch is right on the wall so I was going to put a 8'' in ceiling speaker for my rear center, would this be a mistake?I cant put it on the back wall because like I said the couch is there, would I get accurate sound being that its in the ceiling and my front center is under my plasma I am using all infinity speakers.thanks for any advice

I don't think I'd bother. I'd look for another upgrade that would be more beneficial for the system. That placement just wont be worth it IMO. Maybe others can chime in with advice to the contrary...

what would be a goodsuggestion of a beneficial upgrades,I have a blu ray player 50'' plasma, infinity speakers, onkyo sr506 receiver thanks in advance.

This is how I set my rears up. I am very limited with space too. For me it works. It's an odd set-up I know.

No, I set it up with an SPL meter. System is perfectly intergrated. Sitting on couch system puts out 120 dbs at 0db without clipping. It's a rush allright.

You have to get an SPL meter to set it up right.
