Insane what Craig Breedlove was doing ... At the age of 27, while his mates were in their garages tweaking their V8´s, Craig bought a GE J79 jet engine, the same as was used in the F4 Phantom fighter jet .... and he built a car around it. To set the world land speed record and he did in his first "Spirit of America" .... There is no way I can even articulate how cool I think that is

That one above is the second generation Spirit of America .... and there was a third one too

We have well over 18 inches of fluff. One of the nice deals about apartment living. No work to do on that front. You take it easy. I want to go to RI to see you upright.

That is BS for sure if you were not moving. Can you appeal? I am sure that your phone can show you were not moving. The BMW does not have talk to text?

But I seen in Ukraine.... guys with very expensive Lexus´s just passing the police when they are seriously violating the speed limit, while Fiat´s being stopped ..... different times, different rules

That is BS for sure if you were not moving. Can you appeal? I am sure that your phone can show you were not moving. The BMW does not have talk to text?

I have two options

1. I am offered a "simplified penalty notice", which I can accept and there is nothing more, no official records.
2. I can refuse #1 above but then police will take me to court and my options winning such a case towards two police officers is probably around zero. If I lose, I reckon there will be my lawyers cost + police lawyer cost... I guess $8000+ and if I lose there will be a post in my police records. So if I wish to go to say, the US I may be refused because of what my be seen as a criminal record.

I was indeed blocking traffic as I was slow moving and the claims that I was making trouble for others behind me, although not a security risk.The law does not say anything about moving or not, just that it is illegal while you are a driver of the car and in traffic.

Simple, I just take it as I should have known the rules better, and I really probably knew that what I was doing was not legal, so best to simply accept and learn from this!

Although, insane that there were no fatalities for that one in Toronto

Passengers were extremely lucky, the right wing was ripped off and exploding in a fireball, but as the wing was ripped off it separated in distance and the fireball was not close to the fuselage, leaving the fuselage outside of the vicinity of the fireball, WOW

The CRJ900 model has, as you can see, rear-mounted engines and that lead to a design of very short landing gear. Making the job easier for baggage handlers. However, then there is very small margin when landing for the wings to touch the ground... some slight bank and you are in trouble ....

Absolutely and yes possibly ... you see those flames ... but I have not seen any reports on the cause
And I don´t know what in a boat that can burn that crazy, other than lithium batteries .....
