So I was watching parts of the blu-rays that I have ripped so far on my computer, and while playing Iron Man 2, my speakers had ridiculous distortion on bass scenes. I was listening at pretty low levels too. I'm pretty sure my receiver is just running out of juice. It's having a hard time on my 4 ohm behringers. Ughh. Time to look for another receiver.

I've tested it on music too, it just epically fails. I never noticed before because I was always using a sub. Anyone wanna buy an Integra DTR 4.6? lol

That Iron Man 2 track is VERY bass heavy, so it might not be the best judge on whether or not your setup is handling it :)

It does the same thing for music. Now that I noticed that it's running out of juice, the speakers sound very anemic. Maybe I'm just looking for it now, but it sounds terrible.

Per the whisky converation . . . well, no matter the whisky, or drink, or any beverage really, even sodas . . .

I highly recommend large cube trays. The greater volume of the cubes, with relatively smaller surface area, means that your drink stays cold with less melt. Works really great. I like to cut whisky with a bit of water, and I still do with these cubes. The "consistency" remains for a lot longer.

Almost forgot, but if you use either spring or filtered water, the cubes will come out clearer than with tap water. Well, at least for the tap water in most places.

There are many types, even spherical ones, or rods to put in sport water bottles, and I've heard of super fancy stuff in Vegas using some ridiculous technique, but these are what I use:

Yes, I'd like to buy some rocks for $20. Do you sell cable risers too?

:p

That's not a bad idea though, it's kinda a different take on the frosty mug.
"Great for non-alcoholic drinks too!" phffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft....

A good solid rock to the side of the head could give you the same results as a few drinks. Cheap too!

I hate this about snow and winter..... it snows, then it starts to rain so it all gets wet and it then it gets cold so it freezes

Then it's so icy we can find the skates.... and then it starts to snow again so we get snow on top of the ice... and then it starts to rain again... and it freezes and then it start to snow again ..... over and over again

I love it when it snows, melts by day, then freezes by time I get home at night. Then there’s that layer of ice on top of the snow. Ever fall into that? It could rip your face off.

I'm going home to grill up some brats tonight. Maybe even have a fire pit and enjoy this nice upper-40's weather.
