"Real" HT

[Tomorrow]

Does anyone have any experience or second hand knowledge of THX cert'ed, claimed real-theater-presence JBL Synthesis (S3HC) speakers? They is hyped to the rafters in the only two reviews I could find.

Any report or opine would be appreciated.

I have been in a few rooms with Syn systems and the reviews are correct... They are phenomenal. For the price you are getting a lot of product for your money and their sound is excellent. Plenty of power to spare and the better the Syn package you get, the more there is to it.

It was on my short list when looking to do my theater, but all my money refused to come together at once. Maybe someday.

It is said that Master Lucas himself uses the Synths in his home and studio. I don't know if that's high praise or not....but they sure are intriguing at the price if ya got a spare 4 grand or so.

Hey Trix or anyone. Someone on eBay has a full Synthesis 3 system (selling pieces separately), including the S one-fifty amp (presumably to drive the horns?). The auction expires today (5/4), and is only at $1550 (total) right now. This is an AWESOME deal if you have the quick cash. I dunno the seller...it's an auction house, I think.

Wish I hadn't just blown a bunch o' cash on other low WAF stuff.

They were awesome speakers I loved the awesome effortless dynamics that they were able to produce and the entire speaker package was very balanced If want want another option look at these They are very simular in nature
