I wanted to post here instead of the DIY section because I figured it would get more traffic here.

The topic seems to come up regularly enough that I was wondering if the mods would add a sticky for "books you should read if you're going to build your own speakers"

I personally am in the process of reviewing my college electrical engineering books for review of circuitry while I research crossover design. I still need books though that discuss crossover design and more in-depth coverage of cabinet design with respect to T/S parameters.

I was wondering if anyone else would consider this "sticky" worthy in one of the sections.

I think this should be your first book to read, certainly not the last:D
by Dr. Floyd Toole who spent his career researching speakers, psychoacoustics, room interactions, etc.

If anyone wants to ask "who doesn't pay attention" I will raise my hand. I just realized there already is a sticky for books.
