Any recomendations on good quality RCA audio cables, 3ft? I'm thinkin the emotivas or the blue jeans cables look pretty good. Any other brands to look out for that offer better bang for the buck?

I am very well aware of the debate over whether or not the cables make a huge difference, and I am in the camp of "probably not significant" to 99.9% of people. I just want good quality and not feel ripped off.

Check out monoprice.com. Wire, assuming the connectors give a reliable mechanical connection, is wire.

As far as the 99.9 percent.... I disagree.

I'd say more like 97 percent not significant. The other 3 percent are too arrogant or misguided to know better.;)

3Ft is pretty short... they can be really annoying to work with if they're that short.

Sound quality wise, no, but some RCA cables do have different design than others. These:

ACOUSTIC RESEARCH Pr131 Pro Ii Rca Audio Cable 6 Ft | Accessories4less

ADTG went from the monoprice stuff to those and found they took away audible hiss from his system. I don't know if that's a good thing or not though - based on this it looks like that company's guilty of "tone control cables" :p :D ;)

I've used those AR Pro RCAs (both audio and video) from AC4L installing a few friend's systems and they definitely do the job for the price. On the cheap, they will do the trick. My personal preference for audio is still Blue Jeans.

I am really happy with my UltraLink HT Series RCA cables.

But Monoprice is probably a better bang per buck cable.

Yes dont get 3ft. Unless you have very easy access to the connections it can be a headache if you need to pull a component out. I use 3ft but the connections are 6inches away from eachother. If 3ft works then great. But if its gonna make things tight the get a little bigger.

You do realize that since the $8500 speaker cable is sold by Amazon you can return it for just the cost of postage.

Pinky, are you thinking what I am thinking?

The reviews on the audioquest K2 cables are pretty positive. . . . And the pics that have been uploaded alongside the cable pretty much explain why they are such great sub $10k cables.
