First off I really like the old sci-fi movies. They are cheesy as far as the acting goes but that for me was part of the charm. When I was a kid these were cool fun movies to watch and I still get that feeling now.
This set comes with 20 Million Miles to Earth, Earth vs. Flying Saucers, It Came from Beneath the Sea, 7th Voyage of Sinbad.
I liked 20 Million Miles to Earth, the best. 7th Voyage of Sinbad isn't the best of the Sinbad movies either.
There is a ton of interviews and behind the scenes info which in a lot of ways the best part of this set.
One of the other cool features is the ability to toggle between B/W and colorized, by using the angle button.
The biggest down side is the price, quite expensive at around $80, but if your a collector I guess it's worth it.
The PQ is good considering the age, and it does come in 5.1 though most times isn't really apparent

I watched all those movies as a kid in their 34 rerun. I was never convinced by the FX, but always liked them and their stop action creatures.

I personally like stop-action animation better than computer animation. Sure, the motion is jerky, but because they actually filmed a three dimensional object with light shining on it, the depth and shadows are exactly right, unlike computer animation. Computer animation always looks flat and artificial.

All of his movies are among my favorite Sci-fi/horror movies of all time. HUGE fan of Harryhausen. They were never great movies, but the effects make them what they are: entertaining.
