This morning (late) we decided to wake up my daughter to some test tones. I posted this at AVS, got good advice, thought I'd run it here. I'm pretty impressed with the output from 30hz down. John and I were watching the clock trying to shake off a nail..."It's gonna go" ... didn't
. Discovered some interesting room reasonances doing the tones that go unnoticed during music or movies. Some were pretty stressful.
Calibrated to 80db, sub only, numbers adjusted to 75db and RS correction tables, receiver at minus ten, slight null in LP, biggest peak in the room is 8db against a wall.

I'm considering a BFD. Craigsub suggested cutting 18-36 with minor boosts from 42-53, which seems logical, a flatter response. Anyone know what I'm likely to gain? More definition? impact? Primarily I'm interested in SQ. I've got tons of headroom.
Room size 2000^3 opening into another 2&1/2 rooms totalling 7000^3 (which I didn't consider before purchase, but doesn't seem to be much of a factor) 20hz tune, preferred...
Thanks to JG for the player and time...had fun.
