I gave a review of the poor sound quality of this DVD about two or so years ago. Forget about it. This is one of the greatest rock bands of all time. If you are a rock fan, heavy or not, this dvd has it all. Perfect performance. Perfect time. They will go down in history. If you don't own this, get it. With plenty of power on tap, correct set-up, and the right speakers, the SQ can become impressive.:D

How'd ya get it dialed in to sound good  i like rage alot & the concert was great but no matter how i run it the audio sucks on my main rig,i might try & run it on the little rig with klipsch heresy's,who know's maybe the horn's will do it for me.

Any tips on how ya got it dialed in would be great.

The dvd is still among the worst in SQ that I own. The very worst is Audioslave Live In Cuba. However, it can be cranked. The music speaks for itself. They were so good, it overpowers the audio quality.

As far as my system, it has taken me about three or four years of fine tuning, calibration, placement, and decorative room acoustics.:D

I am considering replacing my Yamaha 1400 with a pre-pro. I am worried about SQ. I worked so hard with my Yamaha, I hate to have to start over. The Yamaha really works well.

I am also considering replacing my Adcom 7605 with a McIntosh MC 205. The only thing I am worried about here is my bank account.

Hi zumbo,i responded to your pm on this but i didnt want to leave the thread hanging,There isnt a 5 channel amp on the market that can come close to performing as good as the mc205(bold statement i know:D ) & as long as you stay at or below the price i quoted you you'll never loose 1 red cent.
