yeah and someone here called me a spammer when i inquired about those speakers. Anyhow i just spent over 3 grands on Axiom, and i would say the review came too late.

Interesting. Although I've never read a truly bad review of anyone who auditioned new speakers. They all say, "excellent for the price" "worth twice as much" and use the same terms all the time. Frankly, I'm tired of it, it's like those cooking shows, Emeril, Rachel Ray etc, everything they cook is excellent, the look of ecstasy on their face when they taste the prepared meal is ridiculous. Yeah right

I long for the day when I watch a cooking show and at the end the host tastes the meal and says, OMG that is absolutely awful, similarly, I can't wait to read a review where the person absolutely trashes the speakers.

hey im just posting some info that i thought would be useful to buyers..

I mean do you really expect a good cook to cook something that doesnt taste some what good? Taste is probaly just as subjective as sound quality, but being a cook my self, i think its far easier to please taste than it is to please ears.

I know what you mean about the reviews though. Someone should start a magazine or review site that just reviews $1,000 and below stuff. Because I dont see how some places can review 20thousand dollar speakers then go and review a set of $300 and say "great speakers." It doesnt make sense to me.

And i hate that "for the money" line too. I dont care how it will sound for the money i want to know how it will sound if money is not even a factor.

and i think on ebaumsworld their is a clip with some people tasting the food and the lady gags on it and spits it out lol

If I had the funds i definitly would start up an independent site dedicated to those kind of reviews

If you're talking about me, you need to go back and re-read my post in that thread, because I didn't call you a spammer. My post was directed at Clint. That you might possibly be a spammer was offered up as a reason for his particularly distasteful, and I thought rather strong, reaction to your post.
