I am ready to get a new home theatre system so everything will be updated. I'm looking at Pioneer Receivers (1019). Why don't these receivers (by pioneer) have an input for common r6 coax? As it appears, I have to run my r6 antenna coax directly into the tv but maybe that's how it's suppose to be done?
I also have an fm antenna outside with r6 coax. I noticed the fm connection on the receiver is FM Unbal with what looks like a male connection (same as the r6 coax) and what seems like a larger pin in the middle. Can I simply buy a female connector (on both sides) from radio shack and the pin will fit in this or is there some other kind of converter?
Any feedback will help. Thanks!
