I posed this question at the bottom of my previous post, but maybe nobody got that far

I am running the BD-35 through a Pioneer VSX-1016 into a Panny TH-50PHD8 display.

Is there a screen I can access on any of these to see what the signal being sent to the display really is (720p, 1080i, etc.)?

thanks

I can't speak for the TV's ability, but what ever you have the upscaling feature on the BD35 will be what the TV is receiving.

That needs to be on the TV but I have no idea which dialog box. Check the manual. Most likely something about source.
