Quick question about ports in a sonosub

Hi.

I was modeling a sonosub in sketchup, and it seems that the required port length is longer than the actual length of the tube. I can bend the port, but then it will end up facing upwards (away from the driver).

Is this acceptable?

Thanks

Maybe some more info, we could help you out...

What driver, what size sono tube.... What hz are you tuning to...

You can always use a bigger diam sonotube....

im doing the infinity kappa build, same specs. i just didnt have the floor space for the traditional method, so i was trying to see if i could get it to fit in a sonosub.

also, im using a slot vent, rather than a cylindrical one, because getting a 7" diameter pipe is near impossible. the vent has the same area, and the same volume.

Thanks

Skip the long horizontal section and bring the vent back up on itself. Two vents using three vertical pieces of mdf.
