Quick Noob Question

Apologies in advance for any breach of etiquette.

When I bought my house a few months ago, I "inherited" a Parasound HCA-2200II (along with a ton of other older Parasound equipment) that requires service. Parasound wants about $250 plus shipping both ways to fix it, but it's really way, way overkill for what it's doing. (We never turned the volume knob up past about 30 degrees out of 270 total.) What I am hoping to find is a cheap amp that isn't absolute crap that will power Energy Connoisseur C-2 speakers mainly used for watching TV and quiet radio listening in the living room. (The more fun stuff is downstairs... :) )

(Specs: 2-way front ported, 130 watts max handling, 25mm aluminum hybrid dome tweeter, 165mm woofer (polypropylene cone injected with aluminum particles), 88 db sensitivity, 6 ohms nominal impedance, 40hz - 25khz response, crossover at 1800hz, Spherex front baffle material, interloc cabinet bracing, bi-wirable, 9.5" wide x 9.5" deep x 18" high.)

Any guidance you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Again, I apologize if this is not the correct area for such an inquiry. Thanks in advance!

Budget?

Room size/dimensions?

I would pay for the repair myself.

Depending on how much the shipping is; I'd get the Parasound fixed.
There are "cheap" amps out there, but few will compare with the quality of that amp for that kind of money.
