questions on 5000 audio system recomendation

I have a couple of questions on the equipment recommended in this system.

receiver: denon 2707ci was recommended, not the denon2807
Is this 2707ci better for audio then the and the 2807 better for video? Other recommended receivers were in the same price range as the 2807. The Yamaha rxv1700 is priced at 1200. Between the three how would you rank them.

Speakers: I've seen a lot of people rave about the AV rockets but they were not listed as a substitute and the 760 package lists for 2300. How would you compare them to the axiom 60 package.

I went with the 2807 for HDMI inputs (2) and output (1). It's not many inputs/outputs, but at least it will handle the DVD player and projector in my HT (which is all I really want).

I also went with the M60 Axiom speakers and they are great. I chose the SVS sub over the Axiom package sub just based on hearing people's reviews and it is all I need.

don't know if that helps much, but I'm happy with the 2807 and Axiom and would highly recommend them to others.
