I got a audigy that has the audigy 2 softmod. Right now i got it set up to cheapo 50w 5.1's. I was thinking of getting these speakers, http://www.shentech.com/alladead651t.html But i was wondering if there was possibly anything better in that price range. I figured that id ask some knowledgeable people, what do you think?

THX certification costs money, and we're just now finding out what it means for things like PC speaker systems... I think those speakers probably sound decent, but there's a lot of competition at that price.

Any way you can audition?

i wish, their just on that site, i know i like the logitech z560's. 400w rms 4.1. My friend has them, they sound excellent, tho i doubt that the onboard nforce2 sound is as good as an audigy.

I've got the Z560's and they still sound good with the onboard nForce2 sound although I did stay with the Audigy as I think it does sound better. If your going to watch DVD movies on your computer monitor and want the 5.1 sound your pretty limited at that price range in your link. I'd definately get the 560's if you don't need the 5.1 sound. They can be had in that price range. Too bad you can't audition those Dell speakers. Usually if some PC speakers are a quality product the news spreads around quick. I hang out in a PC related forum quite a bit and I haven't seen or heard a thing about them. Feel like gambling?
