Questions about hybrid headphones (wired and Bluetooth)

Hi guys,
I was wondering why this kinda of headphone when it connect with 3.5mm cable, Bluetooth functions won’t work. Such as vol up/down, play/stop, pick up phone call
What’s the reasons?

When you connect with a wire, you are not connected with BT. Therefore, BT does not work!

I knew it, but why those manufacturers doesn’t allow BT functions works when ppl use wired

They would conflict with each other with normal operations. I suppose they could design it so that you have the options that only the BT controls work when used in wired mode, but perhaps there isn't much demand for it, or perhaps there are technical limitations.

I think the design also aims to save batteries when connected with wire.
