My girlfriend recently bought me the LCR2 package from TSC. I already own a pair of Yamaha NS 6490 and I am currently using them as my fronts. Should I keep the Yamaha's as the fronts or use the other ones since they are matched with a center speaker? Which ever I use as the fronts, the other set will be used for surrounds. Thank you in advance.

The end goal is consistent sound quality when the audio track pans from one side to the other.

If you use the ones from the package, the Yammys go to the surround duty. Alternately, get another Yamaha NS6490 and use it as the center, keeping the mains as they are and use the LCR2 for surrounds.

Compare the two options and keep whichever setup sounds better to you.
