I have 2 10" Wolfenhags with dual voice coil that are in a KLH sub box (basically turning it into an indoor powered sub, as the sub box has its own amp). There are 2 positive and 2 negative input clips. Someone I know told me to wire each negative to a positive, and wire that to my sub boxes amp. Is this recommended?

If you do that the sub would be "out of phase". And to answer your second question, it depends. Sometimes the "out of phase" setting sound better than the "normal" setting, usually when the sub is placed behind the listening position.
