Question: Active Cooling for RxZ9. Help

Hello fellow audioholics
Any advice regarding purchasing an active cooling 'system' for my recently purchased Rxz9?

I have looked around at various vendors and most offer simple 'fan' type solutions to either
(1) Drive air up into vents by seating under the receiver
(2) Pull room air up from the receiver

These range in price from 150-200 dollars.
Can anyone let me know what they have done or are doing and how it is working out for you?
Any links to vendors?

Your help is much appreciated.

The RXZ9 runs very hot; even sitting on a shelf with free airflow. I did buy a 3 inch AC "quiet" fan from radio shack and drilled a hole in my cabinet. I plugged the cord into the switched AC outlet in back of the receiver.

I use 12v PC fans ... connected them to an AC to 12v adapter ... plugged it into the switched outlet.

I pull the hot air out of the top of the AVR (right over the heatsinks)

EDIT: oops, original thread nearly 2 years old
