I'm new here, and new to audio in general, so hopefully this is posted in the correct place.

I was wondering, for anyone that knows anything about this speaker system (logitech z-5500), I can't seem to figure out the surround delay settings on them. I've searched tirelessly for answers and just can't find them anywhere.

On the control pod, it does not show what your adjustments represent, it just has a bar, the lowest setting on the bar shows a number "0" and the highest is simply a "+" symbol. I know a bit about calibrating surround delay for your system, and how I am supposed to go about doing it, but I am un able to as I do not know what the settings represent here.

If anyone has any answers with re guards to this, it would be deeply and greatly appreciated if you could share some info. I'm getting quite frustrated with not being able to find any answers about this anywhere (including the logitech forums!)

thanks in advance!

I guess nobody is able to help with this huh? I know these speakers aren't any kind of top of the line home theater or anything, heck I don't even know if this was the right place to post this. I'm disappointed that I cannot find the answer to my question though, it's been three days now, and I've been unable to get any response from logitech support, nor have I been able to find anyone who has an answer on any forums I go too. Oh well, maybe I will get lucky and someone will pass through with knowledge on this subject! lol

Hey, I understand your frustration. I have the Z-5500 as well connected to my PC. I know it isn't high end, but it doesn't do too bad considering the street price. I got mine for $219 a couple years ago. I had the same problem, but in the end I just kinda guessed and left it alone. A little trial and error might help, then just leave it how you think it sounds best. I know this isn't a good answer and hardly a professional one, but for a budget computer system, I don't know that it's going to make too much of a difference. Good luck! :)
