i understand that the Totem Dreamcatcher has been updated a number of times over the years, something one needs to be aware of when considering second hand speakers.
My question is about the Mite. Has the Mite similarly been updated over the years? Is anyone familiar with how and when they have changed over the years?
I am considering a used pair of Mites as my first foray into high-end audio. Unfortunately the seller also bought them second hand and does not know what year they are from other than that they are 8 ohm which should make them more recent than 2001.
Is there anything else I could check to determine when the speakers were manufactured?
For the record, I will pair these speakers either with NAD D3020 or TEAC AI-101DA. Any opinions on which one to choose are similarly very welcome.
