Question about the Marantz AV 10

I know it has digital processing, and the analogue inputs have to be converted digitally to be processed, before being converted back to analogue for the output.

But, the AV 10 has Direct and Pure Direct modes. Are those modes pure analogue like an integrated amp for analogue inputs? Or are they still being converted digitally? I am very curious about this.

Also, what kind of DAC does the AV 10 have?
