Hello All

I am getting PB12-NSD at half price than a new one. (around $350) its a brand new in box. this one is not with new *DSP* thing.

On SVS website, they are selling PB12-NSD DSP

Anyone knows if this really makes human audible difference and worth $350 more?

Please help if any one has heard the new and old sub. I am 50% movies and 50% music

thanks

The extra adjustments could make an audible difference, particularly if you don't have any way of EQing your subwoofer with your receiver or an external EQ (which you could add, but then the price difference isn't as much). That said, if it is really new in a factory sealed box (not used and put back in the box, which it may be if it is not factory sealed), I think the one you are considering at half price is a better value, though probably won't be quite as good.

I doubt it will be worth the extra money, but only you can decide.

The new one should have more headroom/SPL/Max SPL

But keep in mind, SVS worked on its reputation with the old ones anyways...
