hello all...
I have been thinking about making my own power cable. It looks fairly easy, amlost too easy. Am I correct in thinking I just need:
1. 10 ga 3 cond power cable
2. 1 male and 1 female plug (looking at the Marino brand)

Other than stuff to pretty it up, is that really it???
THANKS!

That would be it. Assuming you know how to work a screwdriver and some wire strippers, you're good to go. Be aware that you won't get magical improvements from a power cord, but if you're going for a consistent look, it can help dress up your system. If you really want to make it look pretty, pick up some shrink tube and Techflex.

I just order the plug ends and heat shrink. Techflex is coming from Westlake so all I need to do is get 6 feet of power cable from Home Depot. I will post picturce when I complete it.
And yes, I realize I am not going to here a difference, but I am bored ;)
