Question about cable

Hey everyone! i got an old stereo from helping someone move and the audio inputs on the back are really strange, it has 2 different ports for each of the two connected speakers, but i could only find one cable around my house to work with it. 0416161456.jpg 0416161456a.jpg this is what the cable looks like for the end that plugs into the stereo itself, i've never seen anything like it before.

The other end of the cable is a traditional 3.5mm single stripe mono plug which works fine, if anyone knows what the name of this cable is so i can get another i would be extremely grateful if anyone knows anything!

Thank you!

That is an old 1960s style RCA plug. It is similar to the current ones but a bit smaller. Sometimes you have to crimp in the outer earth side of the plug to get a tight fit. It is best to find an older plug. I keep some for older gear of that vintage. When using a new one, you may have to also put a thin sliver of solder on the live end.
