Question about AJ Pioneers and my room

Hello. New to the forum and a home theater enthusiast.

My question is about the above speakers and my room. My room is approximately 34 feet long, 14 feet wide and about 8 feet high. The actual seating area of my home theater is 20 feet long with the other same width and height measurements. My question is if a pair of the Pioneer 52's, the CS 22 center channel, and a couple of 22's for rears will be enough for my room. I picked all the speakers up for around $237 including $90 for a pair of the 52's. I will also have a Denon X2000 and the Outlaw LF-1 Ex sub that have yet to arrive.

When I moved into my home I inherited a Bose Accoustimass 3 Series IV speaker system with some very generic rear speakers ceiling mounted and wired. I am looking to upgrade but want to hear a very noticeable difference. My main uses will be TV watching and movies with occasional music. I want to be sure before doing any setting up. I've already also picked up a pair of the Infinity P363's from Amazon while they were $107 each because I was unsure.

So thoughts/suggestions/feedback welcome. Thanks in advance!

You are still spinning around on a merry-go-round > sometimes you just need to listen and choose!
What you call spinning can be considered being thorough. One thing I'd like to know between these two lines is how the center channels compare to one another.

Not if you do not listen and judge for yourself. Who can really speak for your ears?

Now as far as design and build quality - the Infinity 3-way center, is the one more
people would aim for.

I appreciate you responding. I actually have been listening but to the untrained ear it can be difficult to know what to listen for

For a newbie it can be a challenging task to endeavor on. No one wants to purchase and then find out they could have bought a better speaker within their budget.

For me, that would be the AAL (moddeed Pioneer) speakers from Philharmonic Audio.

The speakers with the mods, comes from him. Dennis Murphy does good work - he will
start taking orders again around Aug 12. He does the towers, bookshelf and center.

I for one, want speakers that are good with music - I do not believe in the separation
of music and home theater. A good speaker, can/will be good with both. > I want the
music in home theater and tv, to also sound good. However, to each their own.

My room is open to other rooms and is about that big and the 52s by themselves, driven by 95W, have no problem filling the room.

These tweeter mods will make them into another league for sure. I will write a very short review on them this weekend. Do a search Z reviewed them a couple of months ago. Also look into the NXG 4.1 on amazon amazing small speakers.

I'm also looking at the Emp Tek E5Bi bookshelves. Does anyone know much about the E5Ci center?

Anyone care to share any other speakers that would be considered more than a mild upgrade from the Infinity's or Pioneers under $1,000?

Right now, I think you are best off educating yourself by listening to your Pioneer and the Infinity speakers. Figure out what you like and dislike about them. If you still have the Bose, compare it too.
The difference between them (with the outlaw sub) and the Bose is substantial, why not enjoy it for awhile before you worry about upgrading again. I guess I like the idea of leaving room for upgrading later so you can experience the joy of improved sound more than once and next time (months or years from now) when you are listening to speakers, you'll have a much better foundation for evaluation.

For a quick answer, the Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1's run about $900/pair and are well regarded. I would put all of my money in the front two speakers, forget the center speaker for now, stick with the pioneer 22's for the rear.
I prefer my earlier answer - enjoy the path. But if you are determined to put the end game first, the Sierras are a good option.
