Question about Adcom amps...

Adcom GFA-545 and GFA-5400...how do they compare?
Reliability, quality and above all, which one sounds better?

Adcom is a "sister company" of ATI, so I bet they are pretty reliable if we are talking about brand new amps.

If they're used/old amps, I guess it depends on how they were treated.

They are neutral sounding amps, so both should sound about the same.

When I spoke to the VP of Adcom North America, that's what he said - "ATI is a sister company of Adcom".

I did not ask him any followup questions to that.

Sure doesn't look like it. Maybe he meant that their amps are similar....
