question about a turntable problem.

I have a booze lifestyle 5 system, and I want to hook a turntable up to it.  My dad's old turntable will hook up, and play, but the sound will only go so high, and there is a HUGE amount of noise that I could live without.

Now, for the question:

My booze manual says that I need a turntable with a &quot;phono preamplifier,&quot; with &quot;RIAA equalization.&quot;  

Can someone please direct me to a turntable thats not too expensive that has these requirements?

I believe I've already found one, but it doesn't say anything about &quot;RIAA equalization,&quot; but it does say that it has a built in phono preamp.

Go to Radio Shack and get a inexpensive phono pre-amp, there are few if any TTs with equalizer amps that I know of.</font>
