Hi guys,

I have been using a Quad 507f amp of unknown age for a few months that I acquired through my job in broadcast. I know the amp was previously used by the BBC for powering monitors. Now the 2nd channel has stopped working. I suspected the pot for the input sensitivity but have just tested said pot and resistance is fine and variable. Info on the web is completely lacking, probably due to the age and rarity. I am waiting to hear back from Quad themselves but I was wondering if anybody had addidtional technical info.

Welcome.
Hard to be technical on such amps, or others, just suggestions.:D
Are there individual fuses for each channel?
Are you sure it is the amp, not the speaker?
This happened all of a sudden, any warning signs?
Input to that channel ok?
