Ok listened to a lot of music of all sorts, pop, rock, hard rock, Titanic sound track (skipped the singing parts, I like the CD to listen to the strings), and now have one movie under my belt, Constantine and I think I really like these speakers.
To give you a backround on me ever changing system here is the last 7-9 years of speakers.
First I had Atlantic Technology system 350. Sold them as a set. Then I bought the Klipsch THX Ultra2's for fronts and some Klipsch sides, and I had some KLH speakers for the rear. Oh, also bought a SVS PC Ultra (the original 12"). I switched out the sides and rears to inwall, hi-fi Works THX Select models. Then I sold the sub, and bought a Epik Knight June of last year. That brings me to this past 4 weeks, budget crunch got my wife and I talking, so I made a decision to sell the Klipsch and let her have enough money to pay some bills, and buy a badly needed laptop, which I thought I was going to have $200-375 left over, well that turned into $500 ish. So I bought the QSCs AD-S82 speakers, three of them the sides and rears are staying the same for now. Anyways, long story short and $550 poorer, and yes I do like the QSCs! They go louder then the Klipsch better. What I mean by that there doesn't seem to be as much if any driver compression when driven hard by a Onkyo 805 receiver. Now being a pro install speaker, they are made of light weight polystyrene. So the cabinet does vibrate at loud volumes, but with a 8" woofer and all that I guess is to be expected. Although on the good side you can paint them to match your decor, and they have a dog/child proof metal grill.

QSC says they are full range speakers (well they do go to 70hz according to Audyssey). But you will most assuredly need a sub, duh.
That is enough ramblings for now, check them out in the thread "Theater:" in the gallery forum.
