Hi Guys,

A while back i looking for new closed back headphone for films & music use in the region of £150, circumstances changed and I wasn’t able to purchase them.

Anyways I can now get them and my budget has now changed to between £300 & £350

A couple of month ago ‘Bowers & Wilkins’ release their flagship over ear headphone the P7 which I am very interested in purchasing as most of my speakers are B&W at the moment and they seemed to have more speaker like technology . I’m concerned that they are designed for portable devices in mind as the have an iPod control on the wire and the frequency range only goes from 10 to 20,000hz where another pair I’ve found Denon AH-D600 go from 5 to 5-45000

What I’m looking for is possible alternatives and what else should I be looking for in headphone spec wise?

Thanks for the advice. i was unfortuanatly unable to demo these headphone, i did however demo the Grado SR225i & Sennheiser Momentum as well as the B&W P7.

I didnt like the fit of the Momentums and the SR225i where not as comfortable but where very similar sound to the P7s but the bass was a bit flat for my liking.

I went with the B&W P7 which im very happy with.
