Push MP3 player to external speakers

I just installed a pair of outdoor "rock" speakers in my back yard (alloutdoorspeaker.com/pro1024951.html).

I want to use my MP3 player (Zen Vision:M) with these speakers.

Currently I have a cheap'o stereo hooked up to the speakers and am using a cassette player adapter to plug in my MP3 player.

What I really want is just a simple amp that has an input for my MP3 player and a place to plug in a couple of speakers.

Any suggestions?

You can use absolutely anything that has line-level inputs and amplification. Go to Goodwill and buy a $20 stereo receiver and you are all set. You'll just need to buy a 3.5 mm stereo mini to 2 RCA adapter cable (Radio Shack - $5).

Sometimes it's the simple things huh.

Great idea... thank you.
