I looked for retail price on the receiver. Couldn't find anything about the price when new. Just curious wandering the sale price when they came out. I heard they were pretty expensive. However it does need to be serviced. I have a shop near me that repairs vintage stereos. I attatched a picture of the receiver. The pictures not mine. My unit wont be here till next week lol. My dad let me use his when he had one. Sounded better than my kenwood kr 9600 (rip) but didn't have the volume. Clearest receiver I have ever used.

The SAE Two A7 amplifier originally sold for $549 SRP. Built in Japan by a subsidiary of Marubeni Corp. a major trading company, and also was the distributor in the Middle East for Sanyo/Fisher. Note that the subject Marubeni subsidiary named Benytone also built receivers and rack systems for Marantz. The Marantz receivers were stereo, but certain models were the 1st to support CQuam AM-stereo with an optional, clever plug-in module. 1 of the rack systems sold by Marantz to American Express through their fulfillment group sold >250K systems.

Just my $0.02.. ;)
