I Finally went ahead and purchased the Infinity kappa perfect 12 VQ sub and amp. Will now be designing enclosure (using the advice of tls guy and wmax).

Awesome to hear man, tls guy amd wmax are the best guys around to help you design the box. Im sure you will be please with the driver, i can't wait to get mine up and running (though its the 12.1 not the VQ).

I can show you the design that i had come up with for my sub, it worked out to be 3.9 f^3 with a slot port that was 16'x3' and 54' long. I ended up making all the cuts with just a single sheet of 1" MDF.

Keep posted up on what your thoughts are for the box!

PS: what did you go with for an amp? The external that was recommended, or a plate amp (the BASH one that you were looking at i think?)???

I wanted to get the behringer or the hpsa 500 watt amp but got the 300 watt bash plate amp from parts express due to cost (WAF Factor kicked in!)
