Public profiles for users with a "-" in their name

The site appears to treat dashes (-) as wildcards when placed into the URL for trying to look up someone's public profile.

I'm trying to find a workaround, but this is just a heads up to the admins that when people look for anyone with a dash in their name, they might be sent to someone else's profile page.
