PSN Down, Big Changes Ahead?
06/09/2010 Written by Cameron Teague

Scheduled downtime is coming for PS3 users wanting to visit the PSN Store or make any account changes and this could indicate something new coming. Revealed on the SCEA Website, the PlayStation Network will be down from this Wednesday the 9th at 8:05 AM until 06:30 PM Pacific Time on Thursday 10th June. During this time players will be unable to visit the store, access account management, registration and play online.

According to MusterBuster , the SCEE Community Leader, players will be able to sign on and play online with their friends still, provided they have signed on recently. With a 12 hour downtime for the network, something has to be in the works right? With E3 2010 only days away and Sony pushing with an incredible amount of momentum, we might be seeing some new firmware on top of some changes to the PlayStation Store. Stay tuned.

It is the premium that they are going to be adding. Unless it has some good stuff, I won't be signing up for it.
