I am about to build out my wall so my HT equipment will appear to be built-in.
I am concerned about my center and front speakers, Should I build the wall around the speakers so they are tight as possible or should I leave space around the speakers? They are PSB Image 9C center and 2B Bookshelf. Any comments would be appreciated.

I would build it so you can pull them out if you had to. You should call PSB and see how the wall will affect the speaker response :(

You should look into soffit mounting or in wall speakers. Speakers that are designed to be out in the room generally suffer when placed into a wall like that. There are all kinds of reflection and diffraction problems when you essentially enlarge the baffle of a speaker, which is what the drywall becomes when you flush mount it.

And if the speakers are playing any frequencies below 100Hz, there's almost certainly going to be some low frequency resonance as well.

One of the reasons speakers are getting smaller and smaller is the attempt by manufacturers to reduce the diffraction problem by creating smaller baffles. This provides more detail and clarity.

Horns get around the problem, so you could mount horns that way.
