Doesn't surprise me. Even though my Stratus Golds are ancient, I can't replace them because it would cost a fortune to find a replacement as good or better. They were the bargain of the century back in their day.

I heard these at a local retailer and I was rather impressed. Very dynamic and a nice open soundstage. They would not need a sub either for most people.

PSB makes nice products.........

However, TAS Editor's awards don't mean much because basically everything they've reviewed in the past 5 years is mentioned in that issue. TAS publishes 4 out of 10 issues a year that focuses on some sort of "best of". It's a complete joke and a rip-off to those that have subscriptions or buy the issues at newsstands. The only awards from TAS that matter are the Golden Ear where they actually pick the one item in each category that they consider is the cream of the crop.
