rubber

If I think i know what your saying, use the rubber feet.
If its on hardwood floors, rubber.
If its on carpet, spikes.

Thats basically the guide to choosing a cabinet termination.(correct terminology?)

Never heard the phrase cabinet termination....makes me think of the speaker wire terminals.

Another option is to put a piece of foam/rubber or a piece of carpeting with rubber backing underneath (and you can do it far cheaper than the Auralex type pads). The purpose of the spikes or rubber feet or mat is to prevent the sub from "walking".

Rubber feet that you already have on it should be fine.

+1 for rubber. Spikes will just scratch the hardwood floor and do not offer a sonic advantage.
