PSB or Axiom surrounds??

A friend of mine has a PSB 5t/8C/PSB sub speakers setup and needs rears which will be used for multichannel music listening. They must be wall mountable due to space limitations. He has his heart set on a pair of Axiom QS8s. Will the Axioms be a mismatch for his PSBs? Would a front ported bookshelf, such as the PSB B15s be preferable as rear speakers?

monopoles are better for music,

qs8's are more for ht i think

For music, the QS8s will not blend perfectly with the PSBs, but they will work. If he is going to be doing critical listening, I'd opt for PSB surrounds. If he just wants a decent speaker and isn't so picky about ideal timbre matching, QS8s. This is for rear center speakers or side surrounds in a 5.1 setup?

For music, I prefer monopole surrounds too.

The Axiom QS8 are quite good even for SACD or DVD-A . I have (4) Axiom M80ti's (4 ) axiom QS8 and a Axiom VP 150 center channel and when switching from the M80ti's on the (B) channel and the QS8's on the (A) channel of my Denon 3803 they sound pretty close to each other in sound reproduction for SACD and DVD-A.
